Saint Patrick's
Day Explained
Dan: Good morning Al...
Al: Good morning Dan....
Dan: So today I though we'd get a little a head of the news and talk about why we've been BEER TRAINING for the last two weeks.
Al: Beer training us what Dan call drinking 1 GRAND GUINNESS Extra Stout on each Thursday night, adding one more each week for 7 weeks prior to March 15th?
Al thoroughly enjoy liquid solid food known as Guinness - it IS lovely day for Guinness!
Al mean - if Bird can drink and love Guinness - all Earth people should love!!

Dan: Well that's the whole point - we're training for the LOVIELEST day for Guinness - Saint Patrick's Day!!!
Saint Patrick's Day is a grand day of celebration and good time.
Al: Al love celebrations - what are Dan and Al celebrating?
Let Al guess - Saint Patrick is patron warrior-saint-poet that lead Ireland to revolutionary war for freedom from tyranny of slave state Egyptians????
Dan: No - actually we know what Saint Patrick's Day is all about - it's a celebration of all things Irish as he is the patron Saint of Ireland - so green, orange for the non-Catholics, leprechauns and Guinness are the ingredients for the celebration.
OLD ST. PATRICK

NEW ST. PATRICK

Al: So is Saint Patrick the patron Saint of Ireland because he marketed all great things of Ireland like cold weather, awesome snakes, much rain, read headed gingers and beer driving great demand for people to live and populate Ireland?
Dan: No - actually he is most credited for driving literal and figurative snakes AWAY from Ireland, was not actually Irish (he was British) and was a missionary who help bring Christianity to Ireland.
Al: So let Al understand correctly; Irish and non-Irish Earth peoples celebrate Saint Patrick's Day - an Earth peoples who was not Irish and most credited for bringing Christianity gospel to Ireland by wearing green, pinching those who do not wear green, drinking Guinness and partying all night - during Earth Christianity religion holy period - LENT???
Oh - did Dan not quit alcohol in observance and respect for Lent?
Dan: It's WAY more than that - THE CHICAGO RIVER WAS DYED GREEN!!!

Plus, Beer Training for Saint Patrick's Day doesn't count against my Lent commitment because it is in celebration of a saint - it cancels itself out.
Al: hhhhmm...... Al see..
Dan: Well while we Beer Train - let's check out some of the greatest moments in St. Patrick's Day history....

isn't it ironic - a world champion Guiness drinker is......Asian. Where are the Irish recording themselves downing a beer????
