US Mexico Border War

US Takes First Blow
Mexico Counter-punch

Dan: Good evening Al - are you recovered from our Los Angeles visit yet?

Al: Mis pulmones se sienten como que algien los violo en la jail!

Dan: huh???

Al: Oh yeah - Dan has not been acting on my subtle hints that Hispanics are slowly but surely taking over the US and possibly Canada - NOT with ridiculous rhetoric like "Manifest Destiny" but with simple tools such as border jumping, underdog syndrome and reproduction.  All three of which Americans seem to be lacking.

Al and Dan should just be lucky that Indians already speak English for the most part or else this could be more of a cluster F.

Dan: I told you before, I'm not worried because:
1. I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and CAN STILL order my food in Spanish at Chipotle and Baja Fresh.
2. I've been in Los Angeles - not once, twice nor thrice but 4 TIMES and lived in Hillsboro and Cornelius, OR - nuff said!

AND on a related note - let's talk about the big news item of the week.  We can talk about the trip to Los Angeles later on this week.

Al: Dan MUST be talking about Earth human peoples idiotically and Al would argue, arrogantly moving into the realms they don't belong in - the realm of THE DOLPHIN....... and Whales.

......not to mention the worst excuse for acting possibly ever seen with the exception of the Made-for-DVD blockduster Blonde &  Blonder...

Dan: No.  Better story with more twist and turns.  As of January 1, 2007, in Arizona, there are severe penalties for employers that are caught employing illegal immigrants AND police officers are now allowed to, when pulling over an individual, to ask them for their proof of legal residency.  If the individual is not able to supply or proof their legal residency, they will be arrested and immediately deported.

This has caused hundreds and thousands of illegal Arizona residents, mainly Hispanics from Latin American countries to essentially exodus to other not so "hot" states.  This has been proven by both the negative effects on the school districts and the apartment renters market in Arizona.  What there is no evidence to suggest yet, is the intended effect of reducing the number of illegal immigrants crossing the border.

The second unexpected twist was announced last week.  Mexico has passed a law which in the past stated had various regulations on the types of vehicles that were allowed to be imported into Mexico from the US, what were usually 10-15 year old cars, to now ONLY allowing vehicles made in 1998 to be imported.

This has had a huge impact on the used car industry, specifically the border state markets.  Thousands of used cars are going unsold and the few 1998 model year vehicles are in HIGH demand.

This feels like Mexico and the US are in a bit of heavy weight boxing match that may go the 12 rounds but right now they're just feeling each other out with some misdirection jabs.

What do you think Al??

Al: EARTH PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE!!!

Why do you and your leaders so want and go out of your way to ridiculously inefficient?!!?!?

Let us do a quick and simple history lesson to illustrate the natural evolution of nations, why these battles are retarded and why massive reform is necessary for long term survival of economic systems.  The correct solution actually being suggested in the 1940's of all things:

See 1940's Proposal

In the beginning, Earth and other non-Earth peoples fought over land territories because they lived off the land via farming or  hunting - the more people that had to split the fruits of the land - the less amount available to each.  Sometimes due to this there may not be enough after splitting for some to survive and thus turf wars.

Inevitably, the biggest, smartest and strongest would gather the majority of the land and at some point they would go too far.  Gathering more land not because of the need to provide for his/her people but for irrational needs such as glory, fame, immortality, etc.

Expanding kingdoms for irrational reasons has gone on on Earth planet for thousands of years and in the Universe for much longer.  One of the key outcomes of expanding Kingdoms is the oppression of those being conquered.  The oppressed, in cycles can no longer take the disregard for their most basic rights of life so they rebel taking back some or all of their land and thus a continuous cycle of back and forth for a millenia.

Because these battles go on for so long, like anything else, it is very easy to get distracted and forget why the battle was initially started and individuals start focusing on ridiculous and insignificant differences to fight over.  See the following for examples:
1. Religious Denominations
2. Israel
4. The Crusades
3. Every public office election ever held.....ever....anywhere...ever

Most of these disputes start off in the right spirit - preserve basic life form rights but this US - Mexico border pillow fight is absolutely ridicilous.

Let us get a few facts straight.

First, for the most part this limp wrist slapping session is not about the violation of basic life rights which means the root of the dispute is automatically retarded - a dispute over land......NAY!!!!  An imaginary invisible border, of which less than 5% of it is actually being patrolled and of which was originally established on the  basis of a power high hallucination referred to as Manifest Destiny.

Dan: I knew shrooms were around back then!!

Al: No Dan, they were so high off themselves that they didn't even need shrooms!!

Al digresses.  Secondly, this drunken sword fight is not really about a border or land in the end because Earth peoples are all a part of Earth where through the goodness of technology, passports and natural resource endowments are ALL NOW INTERDEPENDENT!

No country, especially the United States land territory, the largest consumer of essentially everything with the exception of futbol and efficient mass transit systems, can survive without every other country.

Here is bottom line - because of many country's stubborn need for sovereignty in an age where basic human rights and respect for differences in cultures even within countries is relatively speaking, not an big f-ing deal and now the interdependence factor, the formula for economic and overall success for each of the hundreds of Earth countries has gone beyond manageable.  There are hundreds if not thousands of variables which now affect the formula.

For example, despite being one of the most successful and profitable car companies in the world, based out of Germany, BMW is now going to have to cut more jobs because the devaluation of the US currency (US being their largest car market) is decreasing the value of their revenue and earnings (not the sole reason but just shows how interdependent things are).

It is the same with US and Mexico and which brings Al back to original point.  Despite the published reason for this proposal being completely off - Morals and not Economics - this proposal is on track.  Reducing the number of countries, currencies and interests simplifies and stabilizes the equation which makes it more manageable while maintaining respect for basic life rights and rights of individuality.

Of course this is almost unthinkable for most Earth peoples because of irrationality, egos and discomfort with change for better or worst but it is the next logical evolution.

Current actions are creating more harm than good and worst of all stifling innovation.  Protective-ism actions have historically yielded the AMC Gremlin and the Ford Taurus.

While being open to change and innovation has brought US people the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Sony Playstation, German auto engineering, Guiness, English Bulldogs and when you (Americans) were the changing force, AN F-ING COUNTRY!

Lastly, IF and only IF you are going to be protective against foreigners bringing in their cultures and products - maybe you should see which border is the real enemy.

Canada brought you Blonde and Blonder:

While Mexico has given you, houses, consumer electronics, strawberries, raspberries....essentially almost all US grown produce and manual labor plus.....

So who is the real enemy here???

Until the real issues are laid out on the table, this US - Mexico border pillow fight will to Al, be no more than what the following illustrates.  Two overzealous parties fighting over stupid issues, occasionally entertaining but for the most part - just plain wrong...

Cripple Fight!
